Evidence & current status

Performance values are advertised programme figures. A piloted test flight is not proof of uncrewed military service.

AAROK is a French medium-altitude, long-endurance aircraft programme developed by Turgis Gaillard. Its manufacturer positions it as a relatively accessible multirole platform using established European aerospace equipment. The basic design is a large turboprop aircraft, with room for imaging, radar and other mission equipment. Advertised growth roles should not be confused with certified operational configurations.

The aircraft was publicly introduced in 2023. Specialist reporting documented a first flight in September 2025, with an onboard pilot for regulatory reasons. That event supports a flight-test classification; it does not establish uncrewed operational service, military acceptance or an export delivery. The catalogue therefore treats the project as development and trials.

Manufacturer pages give a 5.5-tonne maximum take-off mass and a 24-hour-class endurance objective. A useful-load statement combines fuel, equipment and weapons; it must not be republished as a pure sensor or cargo payload. This profile preserves those distinctions and does not assign a current military operator until an acceptance or service announcement can be verified.
