Evidence & current status
A July 2026 demonstration is documented by the supplier. Earlier Aero2 targets and current Aero-200 figures must remain separate.
Dufour’s current Aero-200 offering is a hybrid-electric logistics aircraft with vertical take-off and landing. The manufacturer’s July 2026 news register records a twenty-kilogram, two-hundred-kilometre demonstration. This is more specific evidence than a general statement about an aircraft’s intended cargo role.
The company’s defence page retains earlier Aero2 material with larger payload and range objectives. Those figures should not be combined with the current Aero-200 baseline as though they describe one verified aircraft. The lineage is searchable here, while the demonstrated point and earlier design ambitions remain explicitly separate.
Dufour markets the platform for both civil and defence logistics and surveillance applications. Dual-use suitability does not establish an accepted military fleet or a named procurement. The profile therefore records development and demonstrated transport capability, leaving customer acceptance, final production configurations and the complete military operator list open. This also avoids attributing every civil logistics partnership to the defence market.
