ALPAGU-B is the enlarged member of STM’s ALPAGU family unveiled at SAHA 2026. Its current product table describes a twenty-kilogram aircraft and a forty-kilometre line-of-sight communications reach. These figures belong to the B model, not the original portable ALPAGU.
The manufacturer identifies a fixed-wing aircraft, launcher and ground station as separate system components. Aircraft weight should therefore not be assumed to represent the complete transported system. The page also lists day/night imaging and automated flight functions; these remain supplier-described capabilities.
The announcement establishes a named 2026 product and a useful technical baseline, but does not document customer acceptance. The original ALPAGU’s export history is not transferred to the B derivative. Future updates should distinguish a display, a test, an order and a delivery, while preserving the configuration associated with each reported performance figure.
