Evidence & current status

US service transition and German sale are manufacturer-reported. Australian Defence confirms programme inclusion, while numerical performance and delivered customer configurations remain undisclosed in the reviewed primary pages.

Speartooth is C2 Robotics' large uncrewed underwater vehicle, developed around a modular architecture and relatively limited supporting infrastructure. The manufacturer presents it as a platform whose payloads can change between roles. Public evidence establishes the vehicle's identity and programme progress more clearly than a complete performance table; dimensions, endurance and depth are therefore not reconstructed from press photographs or neighbouring systems.

Australian Defence named Speartooth among the capabilities intended for the Maritime Autonomous Systems Unit in April 2026, alongside Ghost Shark and Bluebottle. The wording concerns integration and future unit operation, rather than confirmation that all three platforms already have identical readiness.

In May 2026, C2 Robotics reported commissioning its first vehicle for the United States, followed by a German sale involving Eurobotics. These are distinct milestones: the first is a manufacturer-reported service transition, while the second is an export sale and production-partnership announcement. Neither establishes an undisclosed fleet size or the exact customer's sensor fit. Speartooth receives its own record because it is a separate Australian programme, not an alias for Ghost Shark or a torpedo.
