CAMCOPTER S-100 is Schiebel's uncrewed helicopter, used for surveillance and other government missions on land and at sea. The manufacturer describes extensive shipboard deployment and a modular payload arrangement. Its role is broader than a single camera platform: different customers fit imaging, radar, communications or other mission equipment.
The S-100 is a mature aircraft family, but its brochure and current website do not present identical headline figures. An earlier brochure lists over six hours of endurance with an optional tank extending it beyond ten hours; the current page highlights ten hours. Dash-speed figures also differ between documents. This profile retains configuration qualifications rather than combining the most favourable numbers.
Sensor-bay capacity is not a statement that all bays can be fully loaded while the aircraft carries maximum fuel. Published values must also be separated from the performance of particular naval integrations. The catalogue identifies the Austrian aircraft's origin; overseas operators, assembly partnerships and proposed derivatives do not automatically create a new country of design or a second aircraft family.
