Evidence & current status
Supplier information is attributed; performance and operational acceptance require configuration-specific evidence.
Dominator is Aeronautics’ medium-altitude surveillance conversion of the Diamond DA42 platform. Its twin diesel-engine architecture and conventional airfield operation distinguish it from the company’s smaller runway-independent aircraft. The current manufacturer page and XP-labelled brochure provide the baseline used here.
The civil parent aircraft’s accumulated flight hours are heritage evidence, not the number of uncrewed Dominator hours. Likewise, the airworthiness of a crewed DA42 does not automatically certify every autonomous conversion, mission payload or operating jurisdiction. These distinctions matter when comparing maturity claims across programmes.
The supplier offers internal and external payload integration, including imaging, radar and electronic intelligence. The stated maximum load and duration are separate limits. This profile records the Israeli system integration and Austrian airframe lineage without presenting a complete customer fleet or assuming that every XP-labelled aircraft has identical sensors and software.
