Evidence & current status
Identification and specification are attributed to Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence. Captured-airframe evidence is stronger than a promotional claim, but one specimen does not establish every production variant or an independently verified fleet size.
Role & programme
A jet-powered member of the Russian Geran line identified in Ukraine’s public recovered-system database.
The reviewed intelligence record distinguishes Geran-3 from the propeller-driven Geran-2 and newer Geran-4/5. A recovered configuration does not prove that every later aircraft has identical equipment. Some widely circulated values originate in different Shahed or Geran versions, so this profile does not transfer them without a configuration-specific source.
