Evidence & current status

No named service operator established. Cruise altitude is not used as a ceiling.

Scout V30 is a small electric surveillance aircraft in the current GIDS portfolio. Its fixed-wing form and vertical take-off capability distinguish it from the company's separately listed Scout Mini quadcopter. The manufacturer offers a day-and-night observation package and publishes a configuration-specific dimensions and performance table.

The most useful comparison is with other small VTOL reconnaissance aircraft: V30 trades a larger deployed footprint than a compact quadcopter for a wing-borne cruise phase. Its published control radius should not be interpreted as the distance it can travel on one battery. Similarly, the listed cruise altitude is expressed above ground level and is not a service ceiling.

The public page does not name an operator or give a military acceptance milestone. Advertising language about autonomy and low observability is not independently validated here. The record therefore treats V30 as a supplier-described product and reserves operational status for a later contract, delivery or user statement.
