Its fixed-wing form and vertical take-off capability distinguish it from the company's separately listed Scout Mini quadcopter. The most useful comparison is with other small VTOL reconnaissance aircraft: V30 trades a larger deployed footprint than a compact quadcopter for a wing-borne cruise phase.
