Evidence & current status

Zero/placeholder performance fields are excluded. A current operator acceptance record remains to be verified.

The Next Corps UAV is KAI's successor-generation corps-level surveillance aircraft. It belongs to a different programme from Korean Air's medium-altitude KUS-FS and should also be distinguished from the older RQ-101 Songolmae. The manufacturer presents it as a larger reconnaissance system with a conventional fixed-wing layout.

KAI's public page supplies the aircraft's dimensions and maximum take-off mass, but several performance entries render as zeros or placeholder strings. Those are missing data, not meaningful range or endurance values. This record therefore retains the supported geometric baseline while leaving the affected performance fields unknown.

A manufacturer programme page does not, by itself, establish how many aircraft have been accepted into service or whether every production configuration shares the displayed figures. The present entry uses a development classification pending a directly attributable procurement or acceptance record. Readers comparing South Korean systems should keep the developer, programme generation and documented configuration together rather than merging all corps-level or medium-altitude projects.
