Evidence & current status

Public programme evidence establishes the stated maturity only; unreported numerical data remain unknown.

Haegeom-X is LIG Nex1's concept for a future modular uncrewed surface vessel. The company's own MADEX announcement dates its public presentation to May 2025, earlier than the 2026 exhibition reports that drew renewed attention to it. It is therefore an established public concept rather than a newly invented 2026 designation.

The display describes a vessel carrying multifunction radar and interchangeable mission equipment, with proposed satellite and airborne-relay communications. These are intended architectural features, not evidence that every integration has completed qualification at sea. Public numerical dimensions, displacement and mission-specific endurance were not established from the reviewed primary material.

A December 2025 company release announced funded research into control and autonomous mission technologies and illustrated Haegeom-X. That supports ongoing work in the same technology area, but it is not a delivery certificate for the concept boat. The separate reconnaissance-USV development programme, with a 2027 objective, should likewise not be assumed to be the same hull. Keeping Haegeom-X distinct from the earlier Haegeom demonstrators makes both maturity and configuration uncertainty visible while allowing subsequent prototype milestones to be added.
