Evidence & current status

Certification process initiated in 2023; reviewed later manufacturer material does not establish completed certification or fleet acceptance.

LOTUS is the Low Observable Tactical Unmanned System programme led by Intracom Defense. A January 2023 company announcement filed through the Athens exchange records the start of engagement with the Greek military airworthiness authority. The process aimed at obtaining a military type certificate; it was not an announcement that the certificate had already been issued.

The manufacturer continued to present LOTUS at DEFEA in 2025. That supports continuing programme visibility, but an exhibition update does not establish a completed flight-test campaign or operational fleet. This record therefore retains a development classification and does not manufacture a first-flight date from an earlier related research aircraft.

Detailed dimensions and performance repeated in news reports are not substituted for a versioned primary technical sheet. Programme partners may contribute software, materials or subsystems without making every partner country an airframe production country. Greece is recorded as the programme lead; acceptance, final configuration and completed certification remain explicit research questions.
