Evidence & current status

Procurement, trials and service are distinguished; family figures are not transferable between variants.

MANTAS T12 is the small electric vessel in MARTAC's current surface-vehicle catalogue. Its catamaran hull and limited physical footprint distinguish it from the larger combustion-powered Devil Ray craft. The manufacturer offers autonomous, supervised and manual-control modes, with payload options for above- and below-surface observation.

The current product page provides a specific length, craft mass, payload allowance and burst speed. Burst speed is not a sustained survey speed, and the absence of a configuration-specific endurance figure should not be filled using a larger MARTAC boat's range. Installed sensors and communications equipment also draw from the vehicle's payload and energy allowance.

MARTAC reports extensive exercise and deployment experience, but this review did not establish a complete named customer fleet and acceptance register for the present configuration. The profile therefore retains supplier-reported status. It provides a searchable family record and links T12 to larger host craft without treating the whole MARTAC portfolio as one interchangeable system.
