Evidence & current status
Current manufacturer mass/endurance differ from the 2019 launch announcement. The profile uses current figures and does not infer confirmed operators.
Mini HARPY is a separate aircraft in IAI’s loitering munition range. The company introduced it publicly in February 2019 and describes a combination of optical and radio-frequency sensing. The current product page specifies electric propulsion and canister launch from ground or naval platforms. This distinguishes it from both the larger HARPY and the optically guided HAROP.
The programme illustrates why specifications need dates. The original announcement quoted a forty-five-kilogram aircraft and a two-hour duration, whereas the current page lists fifty kilograms and at least eighty minutes. Those differences may reflect configuration changes or different reporting conditions; the reviewed sources do not resolve the reason. The table uses the current page and notes the older values rather than combining them.
Neither the launch announcement nor the current technical page supplies a verified list of service operators. Public exhibition and an available product sheet therefore support a supplier-reported classification, not an inferred delivery total. Its advertised range is recorded as an operating figure and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed radius for every mission or payload arrangement.
