Evidence & current status
Supplier information is attributed; performance and operational acceptance require configuration-specific evidence.
Orbiter 2 LM is Aeronautics’ current loitering-munition offering under the Orbiter 2 name. The product page distinguishes it from Orbiter 2 ISR and describes electric propulsion, integrated imaging and a training configuration with recovery equipment. The shared number does not make the two aircraft interchangeable.
The page’s headline endurance figure omits its unit, and its maximum-speed entry lacks a clear flight-condition definition. These fields are therefore left unresolved instead of silently interpreting them as a validated endurance or cruise-speed specification. The published mass and maximum altitude are retained as supplier figures.
Orbiter 1K has a related historical lineage, but the reviewed sources do not provide an explicit configuration mapping between the two names. Both remain searchable records. Manufacturer assertions of operational use and navigation resilience are attributed, while a named customer inventory and a corrected complete technical sheet remain open.
Sourced specifications
Figures apply to the named configuration. Maximum values are not guaranteed operating performance.
