Evidence & current status

Approval is documented; service quantities and manufacturer identity are not established. Broad capability claims are official statements, not independent trials.

TALION is a Ukrainian aircraft with an interception role and a secondary loitering-munition role. The Ministry of Defence announced its codification and authorisation on 30 June 2026. It describes manual and semi-autonomous control, with additional reconnaissance and patrol functions. The announcement identifies the design as domestically produced but does not identify its manufacturer.

The public record supports a named programme and a formal approval milestone. It does not establish a fleet size, a dated delivery batch or independently observed operational performance. Accordingly, this profile records authorisation rather than treating the announcement as proof that every intended capability is already deployed at scale. Statements about broad altitude coverage are qualitative; they cannot supply a numeric operating ceiling.

No model-specific mass, dimensions, propulsion, endurance or range table was provided in the reviewed release. Those omissions are material when comparing TALION with other interceptors. The shared name is also insufficient to connect the Ukrainian programme to similarly named foreign companies. A manufacturer identity and a dated configuration sheet would allow the record to expand without conflating unrelated products.
