Evidence & current status
Supplier information is attributed; performance and operational acceptance require configuration-specific evidence.
TOGAN-M is a smaller foldable reconnaissance aircraft unveiled by STM at SAHA 2026. Its technical page identifies a four-rotor aircraft with integrated day/thermal imaging. The model is not merely a software upgrade to the larger TOGAN: the mass and flight-duration baseline are different.
The detailed page gives a 2.35-kilogram take-off weight including the camera, while the launch announcement rounds the class to 2.5 kilograms. The more specific configuration figure is used here, with the broader announcement retained as a dated programme milestone.
STM describes optical-flow support for take-off, landing and hover when satellite navigation is unavailable. That limited function is not expanded into a claim of unrestricted navigation in every environment. LTE connectivity likewise depends on network service and does not make aircraft endurance unlimited. A named delivery or acceptance source is still needed to establish an operational customer fleet.
