Evidence & current status

Supplier information is attributed; performance and operational acceptance require configuration-specific evidence.

TUNGA-X is STM’s rotary-wing interceptor aircraft for counter-drone applications. The company identifies vertical launch, day/night imaging and integration with a wider detection system. Its role is distinct from the similarly named TUNGA product and from reconnaissance-only quadcopters.

The current technical page describes an announced offering. It provides an endurance figure, but its maximum-speed unit is inconsistent between the main table and explanatory text. That ambiguity is retained as an evidence limitation rather than reproduced as an impossible numerical claim.

A counter-drone aircraft is only one component of a wider detection, identification and control arrangement. The existence of a product page does not establish the performance of a complete deployed network or a named customer acceptance. The catalogue keeps aircraft identity, broad sensing architecture and development maturity separate, leaving final airframe dimensions, mass and accepted configurations open.
