Evidence & current status
Official reporting supports trials in 2015 and initial fielding in 2018, not a complete 2026 fleet or performance table.
VUA-SC-3G is Viettel's light, short-range reconnaissance programme. Vietnam's military newspaper describes trials beginning in 2015 and aircraft supplied to some units in 2018, placing it among the earlier products in the company's uncrewed-aircraft development.
The April 2026 account is a useful official retrospective. It supports military use but does not give a current fleet count, named unit list or detailed configuration history. Later Viettel surveillance and multirole projects should not automatically be counted as versions of VUA-SC-3G.
The official article concentrates on programme history and industrial capability rather than specifications. Dimensions, mass and endurance are consequently left unknown instead of borrowing values from the separately discussed Shikra or secondary exhibition summaries. A current manufacturer sheet and operator configuration record would provide the best basis for extending this entry without conflating different Vietnamese aircraft.
