Ukraine's Ministry of Defence reported on 25 September that military units had ordered more than 590,000 unmanned aerial vehicles through the government-run Brave1 Market during the first nine months of 2026. The ministry says interceptor drones were the most ordered category, followed by copter-type FPV one-way systems. It reports especially rapid growth in orders for fixed-wing one-way systems.
Brave1 Market allows units to use ePoints earned for qualifying missions to request equipment. Its catalogue also includes unmanned ground vehicles and electronic warfare systems, but the 590,000 figure refers to UAV orders.
Reading the number
This is a ministry-reported marketplace order total, not an independently audited delivery or deployment count. The announcement does not break down completed shipments, unique airframes or operational acceptance. It also concerns a different measure from the ministry's earlier report that 650 UAS types had been approved for use in 2026.
The ordering mix is useful evidence of stated battlefield demand, especially for interception. It should not be treated as a measured performance comparison between drone classes.
