Role & programme
Anduril’s collaborative combat aircraft programme for the US Air Force. The aircraft was previously described under the experimental YFQ-44A designation; FQ-44 Fury is the name used in the Air Force’s September 2026 update.
The Air Force adopted the FQ-44 Fury name in September 2026 after earlier use of YFQ-44A. Its combined 150-aircraft Increment 1 announcement spans two types; it is not a count of Fury aircraft delivered. Much of the production aircraft’s detailed performance remains undisclosed.
