FQ-44 received US Air Force development and production contracts in June 2026 after YFQ-44A flight testing. This contract announcement does not establish operational fielding. Anvil and Roadrunner are separately marketed counter-UAS products.

Anvil and Roadrunner belong to the company’s counter-UAS portfolio. They are separate from its FQ-44 collaborative aircraft programme and should not inherit its development or production milestones.
