Evidence & current status
Canadian manufacturing is supported by a regulatory filing. Military order is for evaluation; complete-aircraft certification is not inferred from a component approval.
Commander 3XL is a modular Draganfly quadcopter offered for observation, delivery and other government applications. The company's filings connect this product to its Saskatoon manufacturing operation, providing a firmer basis for Canadian attribution than corporate headquarters alone. The current product page describes a North American design and supply chain.
In November 2025 Draganfly announced a military order as the first phase of a formal evaluation with an unnamed international customer. That is an acquisition milestone, but the evaluation context and undisclosed operator must remain visible. It does not establish unrestricted operational adoption by a named armed service.
Payload and endurance require particular care. The current headline figures list 22 lb of payload and 50 minutes of flight, while the investor presentation gives approximately 20 minutes carrying 10 kg. These are different load conditions, not conflicting claims of a single simultaneous maximum. The page's Blue UAS statement also concerns the integrated flight controller; it should not be extended automatically to certification of every complete aircraft configuration.
