REX is Israel Aerospace Industries' ground-robot family for logistics, casualty evacuation, observation and configurable mission equipment. IAI introduced Rex MK II in September 2021, describing a hybrid-electric vehicle and reporting sales to unnamed customers. Its current product page now presents REX MK III as the next generation, which should be treated as a distinct configuration rather than a simple renaming of all older vehicles.
The supplier describes remote operation, a following mode and autonomous driving functions. These are modes of vehicle control; the presence of an optional remotely controlled weapon station does not establish autonomous weapon authorisation. Different sensor and mission packages also affect the complete vehicle configuration.
The current MK III page is internally inconsistent. It publishes two payload capacities and two overall travel ranges, although its electric-only range is consistent. This profile therefore retains the uncontested vehicle-weight and speed figures while flagging the disputed measurements. IAI's claims of serial manufacture and customer sales are useful supplier evidence, but named deliveries and service acceptance are still required to turn them into a verified operator register.
