Supplier-reported production delivery

ARX and DEUTZ report first Ulm-built GEREON batch for Ukraine

The companies say their first GEREON ground robots from DEUTZ's Ulm plant have been delivered; the batch size and Ukrainian receipt were not disclosed.

ARX Robotics and DEUTZ said on 29 September that the first GEREON uncrewed ground vehicles built at DEUTZ's Ulm plant had been delivered for Ukraine, about 12 weeks after the companies announced their production ramp-up. Their statement describes the batch as part of a larger contract and says the systems are destined for Ukraine's Defence Forces. It does not disclose the batch size, contract value, individual configuration or a Ukrainian military receipt record.

This is a production milestone distinct from the July announcement that series manufacturing would begin at Ulm. ARX supplies the vehicle design, software and integration while DEUTZ contributes industrial production and quality assurance. The companies say they intend to increase output over the coming months. That intention is separate from a quantified production rate or completed follow-on deliveries.

What the delivery establishes

The release supports a supplier-reported first batch from a new factory line. It does not show how many of these particular vehicles are in Ukrainian service, their mission equipment or their performance in the field. ARX separately describes an existing GEREON fleet in Ukraine, but that wider claim should not be used as a count for this Ulm batch.

Further evidence from the recipient, a dated handover record or disclosed subsequent batches would clarify the scale and operational effect of the manufacturing expansion.
