Ukraine adds amphibious ground robots to Brave1 marketplace

Ukraine's defence ministry says Brave1 Market has opened a category for amphibious ground robots with three initial products. Marketplace listing is distinct from completed military orders or acceptance; the previously reported 40 km logistics mission is older evidence.

Ukraine's Ministry of Defence announced on 28 October that Brave1 Market now has a dedicated category for amphibious uncrewed ground vehicles, with three products initially listed. The ministry says military units can review specifications and place orders through the marketplace, while ordering through the ePoints incentive programme will become available later. It did not disclose new order quantities, deliveries or acceptance decisions for the listed products.

Why the category matters

These vehicles are intended to move supplies across mixed ground and water routes where rivers, canals and marshes interrupt ordinary ground-robot logistics. The announcement marks a procurement-access and market-organisation change, not proof that all three products have achieved the same performance or entered service. Brave1 had opened an amphibious-UGV grant track in June 2026; that earlier funding initiative should not be counted as a new October award.

The ministry points to a previously reported mission by an Alter Ego unit of the 93rd Mechanised Brigade, in which an amphibious robot carried supplies and ammunition over more than 40 km of mixed terrain. Ukraine first published that mission in September, so it is context rather than a new 28 October field trial. The public announcement does not identify which of the three current marketplace products performed it.

Evidence to watch

The next useful disclosures would name the three configurations, their tested land and water payloads, unit purchases, deliveries and repeatable mission results. Until then, the verified change is the new marketplace category and its initial listings, with the logistics mission attributed separately to the ministry's earlier account.
