Ondas announced on 4 November that it had secured what it called multi-million-dollar counter-UAS contracts in Europe and Asia. It identified a portable Ranger order for a major European police organisation and an Iron Drone Raider order from an Asian government customer. Neither customer was named, and Ondas did not disclose an exact contract value for either award.
Two different counter-drone roles
Ondas describes Ranger as a man-carried system for drone detection, identification, tracking and mitigation in mobile security operations. It presents Iron Drone Raider as an autonomous physical interceptor intended to address hostile aircraft, including those without an active radio-frequency control link. The release describes product roles; it provides no new measured interception results, threat sets or operational performance for these customer orders.
Procurement status
The supplier says contracts have been secured. It does not identify quantities, delivery schedules, accepted configurations or deployment sites, and there is no customer announcement in the reviewed material. A signed order should not be read as completed delivery or operational acceptance. Customer confirmation and subsequent delivery or field-test reports would establish the next verifiable steps.
