Counter-UAS integration demonstration

ORIGIN and Anduril demonstrate BLAZE–Lattice counter-drone integration in Latvia

A Latvian government agency reports that ORIGIN's BLAZE interceptor was integrated with Anduril's Lattice and an existing air-defence radar for an October demonstration. The reported intercept is a trial result, not a procurement or service acceptance.

Latvia's Investment and Development Agency reported on 5 November that ORIGIN and Anduril had demonstrated a combined counter-drone arrangement to senior Latvian military leaders at a training facility in late October. ORIGIN's BLAZE interceptor acted as the effector, Anduril's Lattice for Air Defense supplied command and control, and a radar already used for Latvian air defence supplied sensing. Anduril's European vice-president said the partners integrated BLAZE with Lattice in four days and demonstrated a successful target interception. That is a company account carried by the government agency; the agency did not publish a test report or independent engagement data.

From agreement to demonstration

The companies signed a memorandum of understanding on 25 September to explore this integration. The new report advances that story from a proposed connection to a completed demonstration. The distinction matters: the integration exercise shows that this combination could exchange the information needed for an intercept under the conditions tested. It does not establish reliability across different radars, target classes, weather, electronic-warfare conditions or larger salvos.

What comes next

The agency says the companies will continue joint testing, validation and counter-UAS operating-concept work on NATO's eastern flank. The public account gives no target type, number of engagements, hit rate, range, radar model, operator workload or procurement decision. No Latvian or NATO service acceptance of the integrated configuration was announced. Follow-on instrumented trials and a customer decision would provide the next evidence points.
