This audit covers the original research register for Sea surface systems coverage audit & research gaps. The review below records work completed on 21 September 2026. Resolved means the named research task was addressed, not that every national programme or undisclosed capability is catalogued. Partially resolved topics now have published evidence but retain a narrower question.
United States — Partially resolved
Textron CUSV / MCM USV and TSUNAMI family. Added separate MCM USV, fifth-generation MMUSV and TSUNAMI records with current configuration tables and the 2026 procurement announcements.
United States — Partially resolved
MANTAS T12 and other Devil Ray sizes. Added T12 and distinct T18/T24 configuration coverage using current individual pages; identified material differences from older catalogue values.
United States — Partially resolved
Ghost Fleet Overlord and newer medium-USV programmes. Added Ranger and Mariner from primary integration and deployment accounts, separate from Sea Hunter/Seahawk. Added delivered Vanguard and the NOMARS/Defiant programme, including DARPA's March 2026 software acceptance-trial update.
France — Partially resolved
Inspector 90 / Inspector 125. Added both Inspector sizes, distinguished waterjet/propeller variants and verified first Belgian–Dutch toolbox delivery in March 2026.
Singapore — Partially resolved
Mine-countermeasure USV programme. Confirmed the new MCM hull-construction programme and a forecast 2027 introduction, distinct from MARSEC's January 2025 operational start.
France — Partially resolved
Seaquest S. Added current Seaquest-S 930 configuration and documented 2025 exercise participation, with range inconsistency highlighted.
United Kingdom — Partially resolved
Thales MMCM / RNMB Apollo. Royal Navy April 2026 evidence confirms Ariadne in service and Adventure delivered; Apollo is explicitly retained as a separate upgraded prototype.
Israel — Partially resolved
Rafael Protector. Added Rafael family and Singapore operator evidence, separating nominal 9/11-metre designs from the Singapore 9.5-metre configuration.
China — Partially resolved
JARI / JARI-USV-A Orca. Added separate original small JARI and 58-metre JARI-USV-A records, separating launch/exhibition claims from fleet acceptance.
India — Partially resolved
Matangi / Sagar Defence surface-vessel programmes. Located the maker's first-person Matangi transit announcement and its maritime autonomy portfolio, without treating generic or later boats as the transit hull.
South Korea — Partially resolved
Haegeom / Haegeom-X. Recovered company-issued variant, trial and development-contract releases; established Haegeom-X was unveiled in May 2025, not first in 2026.
Ukraine — Partially resolved
MAGURA V5 and V6P configuration detail. Added operator-published historical V5 length, speed and payload in the existing family record, and explicitly separated the named V6P from numerical V7/MV7 data.
Russia — Partially resolved
Later Vizir derivatives and KMZ hydrographic USVs. Added the documented 2024 RK-700M-derived hydrographic vessel separately and updated Vizir's identity caveat; no original customer acceptance record recovered for later military derivatives.
Türkiye — Partially resolved
ULAQ-14, ULAQ-15 and other development variants. Rechecked the current manufacturer catalogue, expanded ULAQ-14/15 roles, and retained their explicit Under Development classification; added YAKTU separately as a new Turkish announcement.
Taiwan — Open
NCSIST / MARTAC surface-vessel cooperation. Rechecked the September 2025 MARTAC/NCSIST/Confucian memorandum and Taiwan defence ministry's May 2025 demonstration material. Neither identifies a resulting co-produced named boat with verified production acceptance; later procurement reporting was not sufficient to assign a model.
